About Us

At The Education Partners, we believe education is a priority, not a privilege.

TEP is the consulting and services arm of GEMS Education, the largest managing entity of private schools in the world.

In 1959, KS Varkey and his wife, Mariamma, left India in search of better opportunities for their family. Settling as teachers in Dubai, they quickly discovered the power of education in building intercultural understanding and in creating bright futures for students arriving from all over the world to the burgeoning metropolis. Their local vision soon became a global one: to make a quality education available to everyone. From a school of just three teachers and 27 students emerged GEMS Education, one of the largest education groups in the world, educating over 250,000 students from more than 170 countries across four continents.

We believe that all students have the right to rigorous, equitable learning experiences. In partnership with you, we create opportunities for comprehensive learning and teacher development empowering educators to unlock the potential of every student. The Education Partners is comprised of dedicated former educators, administrators, and career K–12 industry experts, working together to provide services and solutions to help transform learning.
